Biocentis Showcases their Groundbreaking Insect Control Solutions at the One Health Fair in Brussels

Biocentis proudly participated in the One Health Fair organized by the UK Mission to the EU in Brussels, an event that convened sixteen expert partners dedicated to combatting One Health issues. The Fair, hosted at the British Residence on the 22nd of November, was an interactive display of innovative solutions and scientific breakthroughs aimed at addressing complex One Health challenges.

One Health is an integrated and unifying approach that seeks to sustainably balance and optimize the health of people, plants, animals, and ecosystems.

For Biocentis, One Health embodies their commitment to a safer and healthier planet for all. With their innovative insect control solution, Biocentis wants to empower communities to combat disease-carrying insect vectors, protect crops, and safeguard biodiversity, all while minimizing the environmental impact of pest control methods.

During the One Health Fair, Biocentis had the privilege of presenting its innovative technology platform to an audience of scientists, industry representatives, and policymakers. This platform harnesses the latest advancements in genome engineering to develop insect control solutions that are not only highly effective but also environmentally friendly and sustainable.

"Our participation in the One Health Fair reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing solutions that contribute to a balanced global health ecosystem," emphasized Federico Guelpa, Co-founder and Head of Strategy of Biocentis. "Our technology platform represents a leap forward in insect management while minimizing the environmental impact of the intervention, which is crucial to ensure that public health and agricultural productivity do not come at the expense of the environment."
